Larry LeDue of Sustainable solutions explains the equipment he is using to convert the energy from the sun into electricity for the off-grid system he had on display at Oct. 23’s Energy Resource Fair at Arapahoe Community College in Littleton. Several hundred people attended the event which offered workshops as well as a wide range of companies staffing booths to talk about subjects including solar and geothermal power, water conservation as well as education agencies offering training for those interested in a career in the renewable energy field. Most were static displays but LeDue’s was an operating system with two temporary panels set up outside to feed energy into the equipment in the display.
Several hundred people traveled to Arapahoe Community College in Littleton Oct. 23 to attend the Energy Resource Fair. The event offered workshops about different types of renewable energy plus there was an exhibition hall where booths were staffed with people to talk about subjects such as solar panels for the home, water-saving devices as well as educational institutions offering training courses for individuals considering a career in the renewal energy field.
